Frequently Asked Questions
❓When does the course start and when does it finish?
Next round starts in the week of 17 November 2025 - the days and times of the group will be decided together. Typically, the live sessions take place on Wednesdays - Fridays between 9 AM and 3 PM (Prague time).
❓What if I miss a lesson?
Lessons are recorded, and you will have access to the recordings and session notes.
❓On which platform does the course take place?
The course takes place online via Google Meet. You will receive the links before the course starts. There is also (optional) access to the Confident HR Speaker Community – a small community of passionate HR professionals who meet twice a month for a facilitated session to discuss HR topics of their choice. Meetings are held via Google Meet, and members communicate via the Discord platform.
❓Will I have access to materials?
You will receive materials every Monday during the course: a short video lesson, a practical challenge (to answer/record your answer to the question of the week), and a link to your personal AI assistant for the week (the free version of ChatGPT is enough). A shared glossary and lesson notes will include all new vocabulary.
❓Is this for me if I’m afraid to speak in front of others? What level of English do I need?
Yes! That’s exactly why I created this course – to help you build confidence. This will work best if you have B2 - C1 level of English. If you have any doubts about your level, we can meet for a free consultation. It’s not necessary to speak without mistakes. In the course, you’ll learn how to negotiate in English even if you make mistakes. Grammar and vocabulary notes are part of the course, and you can ask about anything unclear.
❓How many live online sessions are included in the course?
During the course, you’ll meet in a small group (4 people) each week for 60 minutes over five weeks. Beyond the lessons, you’ll also be able to join facilitated sessions of the larger community, where you can discuss a pre-selected HR topic (in the past, we’ve had topics like Giving/Receiving Feedback, Digitalisation in HR, Performance Management, Onboarding/Offboarding, Metrics in HR…). Confident HR Speaker Community sessions are held twice a month, usually every second Friday at 9 AM (Prague time), and last 60 minutes. It’s a very safe and supportive space where you can get inspired or share your best practices. Most importantly, it’s a chance to try out new skills from the course with others, still in a safe environment. But it’s totally OK to join just to listen and participate passively.
